Prima 3 ID card printer
Reverse transfer ID card printing with lamination
The reverse transfer printer prints on the reverse side of a clear film which is laminated onto the card surface.
This process creates consistently high quality printed cards, even though the surface is inconsistent due to embedded technologies such as IC chips or antennas.
Also, images printed using the reverse transfer process are known to wear better than cards printed direct to the card.
To prevent fraudulent copying the Prima 3 will incorporate security features, including a UV Hologram watermark in the retransfer film and Holographic laminates.
For extra protection the use can slao incorporate a wide range of encoding options, such as Philips MiFare, Desfire, MiFare ProX and i-code; HID iClass; Legic; Texas TagIT; ST; Infineon; Atmel; KSW.
As standard the Prima 3 printer will print edge-to-edge and will produce full colour and double-sided ID cards with lamination in less than 30-40 seconds.
