Touch Safe Solutions to Fight the Spread of Super Bugs
Kalamazoo Security Print’s range of Touch Safe solutions is designed to help fight against super bugs, such as MRSA, PVL+ MHRA. Touch Safe products include patient records, case note folders, record holders, binders and bed end units. All products whether made of paper, moulding compounds, thermoplastics, laminates and paints, have an integrated additive containing silver ions which kill microbes on contact.
Safe to use in any hospital or healthcare facility, the additive has no side effects and is non-toxic. Approved by the EPA, FDA and the EU biocide Directive, it has been independently tested and verified by the University of Milan, the University of Catania, the SIK Institute in Gothenburg and LawLabs in Birmingham.
Clinical research showed that 99.9 per cent of bacteria are killed within 24 hours and that this permanent hygienic solution active is for 24-hours a day throughout the lifetime of the product.
