Morrisons Supermarket PLC were looking to update the tired look and feel of the gift vouchers, mile vouchers and saving stamps used in stores and protect them from fraud. Due to the real commercial value of the vouchers, it was imperative that they were 100% secure.
Kalamazoo Security Print was chosen to produce 6.5 million vouchers because of the state-of-the-art design capability and security print expertise.
Morrisons previously sourced vouchers and stamps from two suppliers and were seeking for one supplier for both products.
Our Solution
Kalamazoo Security Print was able to provide a much improved design and cost-effective security features to protect the highly-valued vouchers from fraudulent activity.
We were able to offer bespoke product design and remove this specialist responsibility off the customer.
An improved solution was also offered for the saving stamps. To achieve a more effective application, we replaced the wet glue application, which was peeling off the savers cards, with a self-adhesive product.
The Result
Morrisons Supermarkets are delighted that Kalamazoo is reinforcing their strong branding on the vouchers and stamps, which was achieved with the use of blocked holograms and unique design. The fit-for-purpose prestigious documents have been so successful that Kalamazoo Security Print continues to supply Morrisons Supermarkets with secure gift vouchers.
