The Brief
Patcham High School in Brighton recognised the risks associated with their current payment processes. The existing processes were vulnerable to cheque fraud and administrative errors.
The Solution
The Capita Education Services and Kalamazoo partnership help schools combat the threat of fraud easily and effectively. Patcham High School utilise the SIMS management information system from Capita ducation Services, in conjunction with Kalamazoo security cheques. The Capita Education Services Financial System (FMS) in SMS draws information directly stored invoice details and prints onto Kalamazoo’s highly secure cheques. The security cheques can be personalised to a school’s bespoke requirements and strongly reflect the corporate brand.
The Result
By using printed cheques Patcham High School benefit from the elimination of unforeseen human errors such as spelling mistakes, and in some cases, instances of cheque fraud by dishonest staff. The advanced security features on Kalamazoo’s cheques protect them from alteration and duplication and together with Capita Education Services highly secure log-in system greatly reduces the chance of cheque fraud.
