Capita Education Services, a supplier of information systems to more than 22,000 primary, secondary and special schools throughout the UK, is helping raise standards, reduce administration and enable staff to concentrate on the fundamental task of teaching.
Kalamazoo Secure Solutions in partnership with Capita Education Services aims not only to protect schools from becoming victims of fraud, which according to the Association of Payment Clearing Services (APACS) totals £46.2million and rising, but also to improve school efficiency through the supply of secure printed cheques.
Our Solution
Kalamazoo's security cheques can be used in conjunction with Capita’s School Information Management Systems (SIMS) for use with its Financial Management Systems (FMS).
By using SIMS and security cheques from Kalamazoo, schools not only benefit from more efficient administration and greater transaction security, but simplified financial management and better budgetary planning. Through our partnership with Capita, they can also protect themselves from fraud.
If the school uses a bank cheque book, not only does the cheque need to be filled out, but the information needs to be copied into the cheque stub and then copied into the financial package, substantially increasing the risk of errors. With FMS, the user simply has to enter the information once, the data is then recorded allowing the Kalamazoo SIMS/ security cheque to be printed.
