The Magicard Rio Pro ID card printer is a single-sided printer and can be upgraded to become the Rio Pro Duo double-sided printer using a simple in-field upgrade kit.
The Rio Pro incorporates the patented Holokote® security technology and adds a watermark to the card as it is printed - it requires no additional consumables and can be customised to an individual logo design. The printer includes secure encoding options, such as magnetic stripe, contactless and smart card technologies.
Built for professionals, the Rio Pro’s superior card printing is enhanced by ICC profiles that seamlessly map colours between software and the printer. As standard the Rio Pro printer will print edge-to-edge (full bleed) and prints full colour within 31 seconds and monochrome in six seconds.
